Subten unveils the video for his Manga collab 'Now or Never'



Following a significant hiatus, North London MC Subten has recently stormed back into the grime scene with the release of a new EP entitled The Subway. The Tottenham resident first tried his hand at grime around 2006, as a member of the seminal Shoddy Crew alongside the likes of Chip, Vertex and Double S. The latter lyricist features twice on Subten's new project, but isn't the only grime original on the release: Roll Deep veteran Manga Saint Hilare features on "Now or Never", which has now received the visual treatment.

The track, produced by TwoSeven, combines icy synth work with spaced out vocal cuts. The two MCs discuss their authenticity, their integrity, and their futures within the music industry. Subten can be seen clutching a Subway-branded cup at all times, in reference to his EP title. Check out the new video, directed by B Dot, below:
