Sequences Festival returns to Bristol this Saturday 21 July for its third year running, once again taking place within the walls of vast live music venue and nightclub Motion. The one-day festival champions all kinds of bass music, and this year boasts an impressive array of performers spanning rap, grime, dubstep, drum and bass, garage, UK funky, bassline and more.

In the same vein as last year's event, the three main stages are once again curated by local events company The Blast, drum and bass label Critical, Mala's dubstep label DEEP MEDi, and Kahn & Neek's dubstep and grime label Bandulu.

The Front Yard boasts a diverse lineup, spearheaded by Birmingham rapper MIST and Irish lyricist Rejjie Snow. You'll also find Conducta and Coco team up for what we can only assume must be a garage set, plus a slew of local talents will take to the stage earlier in the day including L U C Y and Koast, the latter of whom recently spoke to us at Love Saves the Day

Drum and bass label Critical continue their residency in the Warehouse, headlined by innovative Dutch trio Noisia and legendary jump-up DJ Hazard. The room's state-of-the-art VOID sound system will also be pushed to its limits by label boss Kasra, Austrian musical wizard Mefjus, and half-time drum and bass specialists Ivy Lab. New signees QZB (previously known as QBig and Zenith B) will make their debut festival appearance this year, after being poached from minimal drum and bass label Flexout Audio in 2017.

Kahn & Neek's label Bandulu and Mala's DEEP MEDi are holding down the Crane Yard all day, and will once again be equipped with the boisterous RC1 Sound System. Commodo takes to the stage for the second year running, this time joined by Croydon lyricist Rocks FOE. As one would expect, this is the grimiest of the three stages, with 1Xtra DJ Sir Spyro, local duo Hi5Ghost & Boofy, and Brixton MCs Killa P and Irah all gracing the stage throughout the day.

Final release tickets are now on sale here; hurry if you want to guarantee yourself a spot.
