Rapture 4D takes cues from eastern music on the sombre 'Levitation'

Glasgow producer Rapture 4D—and, by extension, his acclaimed record label Plasma Abuse—are renowned for their moody, dystopian take on grime, which often takes cues from wave music both stylistically and aesthetically. On his trappy new single "Levitation", he takes this sound to new heights, combining intricate, eastern-inspired plucked strings with icy synths, reversed arpeggios, and bluesy, drawn-out basslines.
