After dropping "No Remorse" with Jammz in January, producer Jook, stays with Sector 7 Sounds to deliver his Flying Nimbus EP. We are given a taster via these first visuals from the project for "Rolling In His Grave".
Sticking with the aesthetic of the imprints sound - a "darker side of instrumental grime" - this track is slow, dark and trappy. With bellowing 808s, clap snares, recognisable percussion sweeps and dancing bell synths, the beat is cold and almost a bare landscape for an artist to jump on.
The visuals are a computer animated masterpiece that floats between an array of dynamic imagery - flames, bones, eyeballs, panther heads (?), doorways, and digitalised universe atmospheres. Definitely interesting throughout and a fantastic concept created by Rachel Noble.
