Meridian Dan & Flowdan get dark on 'London In The Rain'

Feb 2019 saw Meridian Dan release a reflective "Vegan Chat". He now steps back into the light with a new, darker record, accompanied by a dangerous Flowdan feature: "London In The Rain".

Both artists touch on the gullier, bleaker side of LDN. Dan chats: "Guns out when the Sun's out. What you gonna do when the sky turns grey?"; whilst Flowdan sparks out with: "Show some respect when you see the icon. 'Cuz nobody gives a fuck in the place I'm from."
The Tottenham native covers the first verse with an excellent flow that he holds throughout the track. We first hear talk of vicious city cycles, youts getting locked away, smash and grab activity, and more. Flowdan steps up for the second. His infamous voice is instantly recognisable and omnipresent. This East London MC calmly sprays menacing bars on the realities of London life. A quick third verse presents Meridian Dan and Flowdan going back to back - Dan holds a reflective, analysis in his finally bars; whilst Flowdan brings that cold and raw honesty. SX lays the production on this one with dark pads synths, deep bass and delicate bell drops.
