Scrufizzer supplies more 'Tropical Vybes' with the second EP in his summery series

Ealing MC Scrufizzer has this week released Tropical Vybes, Pt. 2, the successor to his 2017 EP Tropical Vybes. The project showcases a mixture of summery UK garage and grime sounds, a fusion genre that has been dubbed 'tropical grime' ever since the 2006 BBK mixtapes that first dabbled in the sound. A video for one of the songs, "Don't Need You", was released on 15 August.

The name of the release tells you exactly what to expect; tropical vibes and upbeat instrumentals flow throughout the EP, accompanied by skippy, energetic flows. We also see production from Stimpy—who released his own Tropical EP in 2018—on "Season" and "Don't Need You". Three eclectic features come courtesy of Derby heavyweight Eyez, Camden lad PK and Sheffield star Coco.

Tropical Vybes Pt. 2 is out now on all streaming services. Stream the EP below, and for more, find Scrufizzer on Twitter and Instagram.
