Iron Gate prepare for Different Hours EP with a grimey 'Headline'

Iron Gate Sound, musical trio from Sydney, are set to drop Different Hours EP next month. A pre-offering of anticipation comes in the form of this dark, grimey riddim dubbed "Headline"; featuring Juiceman.

Premiered on SeekSickSound, a French music webzine (Soundcloud), "Headline" brings forth dark, grimey vibes, though subtly sprinkled with reggae inspiration. Electric synths jut out, to flicker sporadically as they trail off. These nostalgic tones and a phenomenal, raw drum fill make way for pulsating bass before Juiceman inserts his Patios-tinged raps.

The beat displays a dark, almost lurking, kind of atmosphere. London MC, Juiceman follows suit on this eerie tip; his vocals low, calm but dangerous as he's "moving so scandalous, I come fi dismantle hits, with the ruggedest..."

This forthcoming Different Hours EP is moulded by grime and dubstep elements. The 4-track projcet features vocalists such as Juiceman (J:Kenzo collaborator), Chiedu OrakaRTKAL and Michael St. George, and is set to be released on April 8th.
