Jay Amo means serious business on new single "The One"

Following up on his Don't Play Yourself EP collaboration with Marger last year, Jay Amo has released 'The One', calling in Westy on production duties.

The Everyday Grime producer's instrumental has a bitter-sweet vibe, with razor-sharp drum patterns and tight, light synths that barely glimmer through the rest of the merky track. Beginning with 'see, I'm trapped in the system', Jay Amo takes on a slightly regretful tone that then quickly shifts to an aggressive and confident swagger, talking about holding on to grudges and settling scores as 'the local Op-timus Prime'.
