M.I.C takes on dreamlike melodies in his latest release, 'Witchclart'

Carrying a unique flow and delivery, good ear for stand-out production, and engaging lyricism, North London's M.I.C has quickly risen to be a strong addition to the pantheon of new-gen grime artists. First introduced to many via a Just Jam set hosted in December 2018, alongside JAWNINO and Mancunian producer PK Brako, through which some of the bars on this release were showcased.

Together with PK Brako, M.I.C has released a 3-track (2 vocals, 1 instrumental) single titled Witchclart, ahead of his forthcoming debut album, Duskrunner. "Night Raid" sees M.I.C stretch his production talents, foraying into the world of dream-pop with a dark, ethereal instrumental and delicate vocals. The title track, "Witchclart", is a dreamlike R&G riddim produced by PK Braco layered in intricate melodies. Self-described as 'a curse, an incantation, a dark wish to all my enemies, opps and detractors', M.I.C digs deep on the track with his absurdist one-liners, "If you get a terminal illness, I'll pull out your IV drip" and the comical, "I'll twerk on your tombstone".
